After our visit to the busy El Rastro Market (see post here), we decided to walk some more and ended up at the Gran Vía. But as this Vía is so mainstream and crowded, we got into its perpendicular streets. These streets, filled with cafés, restaurants and clothing stores, are the perfect location for a quick ootd (outfit of the day) photoshoot. And why? Because in every wall near some store, there's a customized graffiti painting making the atmosphere really lively.
And the last wall, as I recently learned about, was painted by this artist RICARDO CAVOLO, a former art director of an advertising agency, who now illustrates walls all over the world with his unique imagination. Glad to have discovered his illustration at Calle de Fuencarral.

Depois da nossa visita ao abarrotadíssimo mercado El Rastro (vê aqui o post), decidimos andar um bocado mais e acabámos na Gran Vía. Mas como esta Vía é tão normal e superlotada, metemo-nos nas ruas perpendiculares. Esta ruas, cheias de cafés, restaurantes e lojas de roupa, são a localização perfeita para uma rápida sessão fotográfica de ootd (outfit of the day ou look do dia). E porquê? Porque em todos muros ao pé dessas lojas está uma pintura personalizada que anima logo a atmosfera da rua.
E a última rua, que me apercebi recentemente, foi pintada por este artista, RICARDO CAVOLO, antigo Director de Arte numa agência publicitária, que agora ilustra paredes em todo o mundo com a sua imaginação única. Feliz por ter descoberto esta sua ilustração na Calle de Fuencarral.
