Eu sempre tive as sobrancelhas grossas. E lembro-me da minha mãe avisar-me para nunca arrancar demais, senão acabaria com umas sobrancelhas ridiculamente finas e que nunca voltariam à sua forma inicial.
Na verdade, nunca quis saber muito delas. Só quando a Cara Delevingne foi tão elogiada pelas suas sobrancelhas farfalhudas, é que me apercebi que tinha uma característica física que estava na moda.
Quando os produtos de sobrancelhas começaram a chegar, eu nem liguei. Pensava "se as tenho tão grossas, por que é que haveria de as engrossar ainda mais? Ainda fico a parecer um homem...".
Comecei a experimentar aqueles géis para as pentear, mas odiei a sensação de que estavam molhadas. Por isso, desisti disso. E todos os lápis que experimentava ou eram muito claros para mim ou muito caros (ou as duas coisas). Daí, não ter nada ao momento.
Até, num dia casual, estar a passear pela H&M das Galleries Lafayette em Paris e apetecer dar uma oportunidade ao lápis barato deles. Fiquei convencida no sítio: por ser apenas €4 e por me definir e aprofundar muito mais o olhar – o que perdi durante todos estes anos!

I never really cared for them. Only when Cara Delevingne was so complimented on her bushy brows, I realized I owned a fashionable physical feature.
When eyebrow products came along, I would always ignore them thinking "if I have such thick brows, why would I like to thicken them even more? I'd look like a man..."
I started trying those brow gels to keep the hair in place, but I hated the wet feeling. So I dished that. And all the brow pencils I had tried would either be too clear for me or too expensive (or both). So I let it all go.
Until, one casual day, when I was walking through an H&M at the Galleries Lafayette in Paris and gave a go on their very cheap brow pencil. I was sold on the spot: it was only €4 and it made my eyes look really defined and deep – oh, what have I been missing all my life!
