Olá, meninas! Hoje trago-vos uma publicação do meu novo corte de cabelo. Se me seguem há pelo menos 6 meses, sabem que sempre tive o cabelo super comprido (podes ver AQUI o quão longo estava). Era a minha imagem de marca. Mas já me tenho começado a fartar desse penteado, não só por dar imenso trabalho a manter (condicionadores, óleos e sei lá mais o quê), mas como também não era muito prático (especialmente no Verão, que se metia e prendia em tudo). Claro que ficava giro e parecia saudável, mas já não o estava a adorar.
Os cortes que tenho feito estes últimos meses têm sido sempre com o objectivo de o cortar cada vez mais curto. Em Madrid, cortei metade dele e, mesmo assim, não estava do tamanho de que imaginava (mas também não queria arriscar logo e ficar com o tal bob). Foi nos meus anos, quando o cortei escadeado, que vi que a primeira camada estava exactamente do tamanho que eu queria que fosse todo o cabelo. Ao fim de algum tempo comecei a habituar-me a esse tamanho curto e a gostar.
E foi por isso que o cortei. Gostam do novo look?
[EN]: Hello, girls! Today I bring you a post of my new haircut. If you have been following me for at least 6 months, you know I've always had my hair super long. It was my signature look (you can see how long it was HERE). But I've been growing out of that style for quite a while, not only because it takes so much work to maintain it (lots of conditioner, oils and what not), but also because it's not very practical (in the Summertime, especially, because the hair goes everywhere when you're sweaty). Sure it looked good and healthy, but I wasn't feeling it anymore.
The cuts I've been getting these past months were always to shorten it. In Madrid, I cut it half of its size, and I was digging the liberty that that short haircut gave me. At that time, I hadn't built the courage to go on a full sized bob, though after my b-day haircut, which was in layers, the top layer was exactly the length I wanted for my whole hair to be. So after some time, I started getting used to that length and liking it.
And that's why I chopped my own hair. Do you like the new look?
