moi: Summer Market Stylista

I love this type of initiatives, where someone gathers a lot of Portuguese entrepreneurs and exhibits their work that they publicize online.

Stylista (check her blog here) was that person and made it all happen with this summer edition here in Estoril, inside Fiartil's area (where Feira do Artesanato open from the of June to September 1st and provides a fun time in the evening to everyone who wants to come and enjoy a traditional Portuguese meal with live music concerts and handcraft stores).

This Stylista's market edition was all about Summer (of course). It was filled with the cutest bikinis (starting at €80...), hand-painted beach bags (€25-€50), sunglasses (starting at €50), espadrilles and paez shoes, smart beach towels and fluffy beach pillows!

Although, for me, some items are a bit expensive, I love that these people make the effort of making these trendy things all by themselves and leave a mark in our country and even abroad. It shows that after all we're not the lost generation, but indeed we are an active-minded people who create small businesses and think globally!

So make sure you check this market out, today will be the last day, buy some exclusive items from these Portuguese shops and grab a bite of healthy crepes, delicious merengue cake and even the cutest Santini sweets!

Adoro este tipo de iniciativas, onde alguém consegue juntar uma série de empreededores Portugueses e exibir os seus trabalhos que estes publicam online.

A Stylista (vê aqui o blog) foi essa pessoa que fez tudo acontecer com esta edição de Verão aqui no Estoril, dentro da Fiartil (já agora, onde todos os Verões, de 28 de Junho a 1 de Setembro, esta feira é o sítio ideal para se comer comída típica portuguesa ao som de concertos de música ao vivo e ainda comprar algo nas lojas de artesanato).

Esta edição no mercado da Stylista foi toda sobre o Verão (claro). Estava cheia com os biquins mais giros (começando aos €80...), cestos de praia pintados à mão (€25-€50), óculos de sol (começando aos €50), apercatas e paez, toalhas e almofadas de praia!

Apesar de achar algumas destas peças serem para o carito, adoro o facto destas pessoas fazerem um esforço notável e concretizaram as suas ideias para deixar a sua marca no nosso país e até lá fora. Mostra que nada têm a ver com a dita geração perdida, porque, na verdade, são pessoas com mentes ativas que criam pequenos negócios e que pensam globalmente! E isso é de louvar!

Portanto, já sabem, vão até este mercado que está mesmo na moda, já que hoje é o seu último dia, e comprem peças únicas destas lojas Portuguesas e ainda trinquem nuns crepes saudáveis, blos deliciosos de merengue e os chocolatinis do Santini!
